Our moon is firmly ensconced in the zodiac sign of Capricorn. The energies around this transit tend to affect people's emotions. Make efforts to not go to extremes during the Capricorn moon. Bring your words and thoughts back to logic rather than emotion. Mercury goes retrograde today at 1:20 PM. When Mercury is in retrograde, it appears to move backward in it's traverse across the sky. This is a time to be especially careful with communications and anything mechanical. Be slow to speak, avoid (if possible) committing to contracts (or at least double check terms), and pay attention to anything mechanical that may malfunction (computers, home appliances, automobiles, etc.) Mercury will be in retrograde until May 22, so be attentive to this time and the affects of its energies.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Aries, the Capricorn moon today has you moving through tasks quickly. Try to finish any outstanding projects before the retrograde Mercury comes in this afternoon. If possible, take the afternoon off and focus on spiritual explorations such as meditation, or scheduling a retreat. Avoid engaging in long-distance travel today if possible. Wear pink to attune to spirituality.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Taurus, Mercury going retrograde has you a little out of sorts, particularly in completion of work assignments. Try to compensate by being open to doing things in a more old-fashioned way that avoids to much high-tech applications. Socially you may feel like people are "not available" today. Take it in stride and enjoy your own company. Wear butter yellow to enhance creativity.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Gemini, you may feel that the Capricorn moon is playing havoc with your emotions today. Stand back and be an observer rather than a participator. You will keep you emotional balance and obtain some insight to those around you. A good day to focus on financial planning and projects that require a more logical mind than an emotional mind. Cancer (June 21-July22)

Cancer, while Mercury in retrograde is confusing others, you are more in-tune with your psychic side today. A good day to focus on creative projects such a writing and arts. Leo (July 23-August 22)

Leo, as Capricorn's energy and Mercury's retrograde are throwing off mechanical things around you, remember to draw power from you natural, in-born talents to overcome obstacles today.
